James Logan (pioneer)
James A. Logan (March 11, 1791 – December 6, 1859) was an early settler of western Arkansas.
Born near Danville, Kentucky, Logan moved to Arkansas in 1829 or 1830. He served in the Arkansas Territorial Legislature in 1834 from Crawford County, Arkansas and in Arkansas' first state legislature from Scott County, Arkansas in 1836. He was also the Indian agent for the Creek Indians. He is buried in the Logan family cemetery, near Sugar Grove, Arkansas.
